Students representing over fifteen countries from around the Globe participated in the design and execution of a welcoming mural that graces the front of the Urban Erie Community Development Center.  Using design cues from African textiles with reference to traditional kanga and kitenge cloth.  The finished piece integrates images of the sun, stars, and hearts surrounding the words “Love Shines Bright”.   Another message greets visitors with the words “Welcome to My House”, written in Swahili.
