Ribbons of Life, Love and Hope

This mural was created by the residents of the Villa Maria Apartment complex. This is a senior living facility located in Erie’s Our West Bayfront Neighborhood. The goal of this piece was to tell the story of the building itself, which once was a convent, an elementary school, a high school, and a college. The fluid ribbons tie all of the building’s moments together, presenting its history in a beautiful and cohesive way.
